CS Cart Live Chat Add-On

CS-Cart is a popular eCommerce platform that makes clients’ shopping experience simple and visually appealing. It can be modified in several ways, including a CS-Cart live chat add-on from HelpOnClick. CS-Cart 2.x

If you’re adding a CS Cart live chat and your software version is 2.x, the first step is to access your HelpOnClick console. Click on Admin, then go to Code, and scroll down to the HTML code. From there, highlight it and copy it.

Next, go to CS-Cart and navigate to the Admin panel. Click on Design and then click Blocks.

Be sure that you’re on the All Pages section, and then click on Add block.

You can name the block anything you like, although something like “CS-Cart Live Chat Add-on” can help you remember what it is in the future. Be sure to set the Block Content to HTML Block. Click the HTML button near the top right of the block text.

Paste the HelpOnClick HTML into the space and click Update. Then, click Create. You’re good to go!

CS-Cart 3

To add the CS-Cart live chat to CS Cart Version 3, the steps are similar. On the HelpOnClick Console, click Admin then go to Code. Find the HTML code, highlight it, and copy it.

Login to the CS-Cart admin panel, go to Design, and select Blocks.

Under Blocks, be sure that Default is selected. Then, choose any grid and click the + sign and click Add Block.

Switch from Use Existing Block to Create New Block and select HTML Block.

Name it “Live Chat” so you can remember what it is and then switch to the Content tab.

Paste the HelpOnClick HTML code and click Update. Then, click Create. Congratulations, you have added a CS-Cart live chat add-on widget!

CS-Cart 4

Creating a CS-Cart live chat feature for version 4 is easy. While on your HelpOnClick console, click on Admin, then click Code. Copy the HTML code.

Navigate to the CS-Cart Admin panel. Click on Design and then select Layouts.

On the Default tab, click on Add Block.

Select the HTML Block with Smarty Content option.

On the General tab, name it “Live Chat.” Then, in the Content tab, copy and paste the HelpOnClick HTML code and click Create. Enjoy your CS-Cart live chat add-on!
